Every social media algorithm is different and unique, but they all have the same purpose: To know who to deliver your content to. Without a clear path, your content doesn't get delivered. Not in the beginning anyway.
A social media algorithm is akin to a mailman, an address, and a zip code. This simply helps the "video-mail delivery system" get the videos you're creating to the right people.
This is why the area you choose to talk about and what you share on social media matters. If the algorithm can't figure it out, your videos sit in no-where land: undeliverable.
Here are my algorithm tips for today:
1. Blending topics is good if it's a signature aspect of your business. For example, I am holistically a spiritual entrepreneur and business coach. Therefore I combine these two principles into 1 to attract the avatar/s I serve best and want to serve in order to teach them what I know. But combining personal videos or content with your hobbies and your business won't help the algorithm. It won't matter much after your content takes off but in the beginning, it does.
2. Get to know WHO you're serving and WHAT you're helping them with, specifically. Understanding this on a deep level drives the energetic connection between you.
3. If you have 1 or more aspects of your business, test videos highlighting each aspect individually to see how they perform and who they attract. You'll learn by the engagement you get and you can pivot or combine from there.

When you feel like what you're putting your energy into isn't coming to life, just remember there is so much happening that we cannot see, not just the things we can see.
