I held a 90-day intensive earlier this year where a group of 6 students went through a live intensive course to learn about creating a product or service and marketing it. After the program, a student said something you may find helpful. She said (not verbatim):
"Here I am trying to sell my products and put myself out into the world, but I was too afraid to put myself out here in front of these 5 people..."
So what did she decide do? In the course she started sharing her work, sharing her progress, asking questions, receiving helpful feedback and participating. She started sharing herself. We all got the pleasure to meet her, know her, learn about her, and see her light and her beautiful spirit shine.
This is a challenge for many of us. We often like to stay in our shell. But how can the world find you when you do this? They can't. No one can.
We have to take action in spite of this desire to hide ourselves. The ego says hide. The ego says fear. But the soul says love. The soul says shine. The soul says: SHARE!
So which will it be for you? Set the fear down and share what you know? Share what you've learned and let it transform other people and change the lives of many?
Or keep it for yourself?
Someone once said to me "Knowledge not shared is useless." And I agree. If we aren't going to be generous enough to share it, then what else would we need it for?
Shine on baby. Shine on.
